Looking back, I recall my first real pull to play with words when I was seven-years-old…I wrote Mom and Dad a poem about the spirit of Christmas, which Mom so proudly had framed. On my journey to publication as a fiction author, (the teen fantasy HARMONY RUN SERIES and suspense novel LAST VACATION are my most recent books), I shared a few conversations about my writing dreams with my late Grandpa Lloyd. A fellow writer and man of many talents and interests, including photography, I knew he’d get a kick out of my continuing journey as a writer. So naturally, I had to give a shout out to his old school ‘blog’, Lloyd’s View from the Bottom, and give it a spin of my own. No, I am not a photographer…The photos you see here from time to time are simply the musings of a writer who continuously falls in love with God’s details and finds beauty in the ordinary and extraordinary of her journey. Thanks for stopping by this blog, where you’ll see anything from poetry and book-related information to the latest hawk outside my window. You also will see some memes from The Middle-aged Multitasker, my other-other muse, who demanded a voice on my social media sites. ;) May God bless you!
